Leadership Connect

Leadership Connect is more than a professional development experience, it’s an opportunity to cultivate leaders who understand the broader community, recognize regional challenges and opportunities, and actively contribute to solutions that strengthen where we live and work.

Participants gain expanded perspectives, build lasting relationships across industries, and develop the skills needed to lead with purpose and impact.

Engaging your organization in Leadership Connect:

  • Signals a commitment to leadership excellence and succession planning
  • Investment and support of your high-potential team members
  • Continues building leaders who are engaged, informed, and community-minded

Your involvement helps ensure Leadership Connect reflects the diverse voices and industries that drive our local economy and civic life. We hope you’ll take this next step by encouraging a leader from your organization to apply.

Benefits for Class Members

Class members establish a strong foundation by gaining an understanding of their own leadership style and the style of fellow classmates. They solidify that foundation through a series of in-depth learning opportunities, which bring them face-to-face with local issues that will have an impact on their future.

Benefits for Organizations

Organizations that support Leadership Connect gain employees who are more resourceful and better prepared for change. They are able to apply skills that allow them to lead more effectively, enhancing their contribution to the organization and improving the quality of life in Northwest Ottawa County.

Commitment

Class is held every month September thru April with graduation in May. Class members are expected to attend each day session in its entirety. Are you and your employer willing to make such a commitment?
