2020 Event Details

The Grand Haven Art Festival is held the last full weekend in June and transforms Washington Avenue into a chic, outdoor art gallery. The goal of the Grand Haven Art Festival is to provide the communities and visitors with a unique opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind art, directly from the artist; while upholding the community valued tradition of the Grand Haven Art Festival.

Family Fun Day

The Chamber coordinates Family Fun Day in conjunction with the Grand Haven Art Festival, providing free activities for children attending the Festival. We invite local businesses (discounted rate for Chamber Members) to participate by providing a free art or craft activity for the children! The 2020 date will be June 27 from 10am – 2pm, right downtown on Second Street.

The Grand Haven Art Festival program is printed and dispersed to our downtown merchants, all of our artists and all of our attendees. Over 2,000 are printed. Great space to run a special or simply get the word out about your company.

Volunteer

Help us welcome visitors and artists to the community! Volunteering at this event is great for individuals who need service hours, who love and know the Grand Haven community or who just love art! Check back here for available opportunities as we get closer to the event.

NEW this year – GHAF Poster Contest! The entry deadline was April 1. Our 2019 winner was Ryleigh Zavesky from Peach Plains Elementary.

Host an Artist

We recognize that the Festival weekend is a busy one, and finding accommodations is a challenge. This program aims to pair artists with willing and able hosts in the Grand Haven/Spring Lake/Ferrysburg area.

As a host, you will provide an artist(s) a complementary place to sleep and shower for the nights of June 27 and/or June 28, nothing more unless you choose. Please consider hosting – it’s a great opportunity to get to know an artist and be involved in a wonderful community event!
