LEADS

Grow Your Business Through Trusted Connections

LEADS Networking Groups are one of the most powerful ways to build meaningful business relationships and generate qualified referrals within Northwest Ottawa County. These small, industry-exclusive groups bring together professionals who are committed to helping one another succeed.

Each week, members meet to build connections, exchange referrals, and strengthen their understanding of each other’s businesses. By forming relationships built on trust, LEADS members become confident ambassadors for one another—connecting clients, colleagues, and opportunities to the right people.

Unlike traditional networking, LEADS focuses on consistent relationship building and referral sharing, helping members grow their businesses while becoming a trusted resource within the local business community.

Whether you’re looking to expand your network, gain new clients, or build stronger professional relationships, LEADS offers a supportive environment where business owners and professionals work together to help each other thrive.

Millions in business generated

Not only does the Chamber of Commerce LEADS networking group bring me business directly, but it has also helped me to develop my skills to network more effectively in other settings.  LEADS is like having an additional sales force working for me.

LEADS has been incredibly meaningful to me both personally and professionally. It has helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect, especially when it comes to confidence. I can now speak in front of people without being super nervous, and along the way I’ve built so many strong connections and genuine friendships. From a business standpoint, being able to refer customers to people I truly trust is huge. When clients know they can trust not only me, but also the people I recommend, those relationships grow naturally, and it often leads to them referring their friends and family as well. One great example of that happened when someone from a financial advisory group called to refer a client after an advisor they knew had subbed into my LEADS group about six months earlier. That single connection ended up turning into three new clients for me. What makes our group special is that we know how to have fun while still getting business done, we’re a unique group of supportive professionals who truly want to see each other succeed. I would absolutely encourage anyone to consider joining LEADS if they want to grow both as a person and as a professional. One of the biggest surprises for me was how much it shaped my own career path. The relationships I built through LEADS helped me transition into the position I have now, and honestly, I’m happier in my career than I’ve ever been.

Kendra Gardner, Tri-Cities Credit Union

As a newer member of the Chamber’s LEADS group, I’ve been so impressed by the energy, connections, and genuine support among members. Hosting the group was a great way to introduce myself and our business in a meaningful way. It’s clear that this group is all about building relationships that strengthen our community and help each other grow.

Kimberly Toth, Consumers Credit Union

My Leads group is more than just a forum for networking; it is also a forum for social good. My group bands together to care for those who are struggling, takes an interest in community needs, and allows members to fully participate even when we can’t be physically present. Without these aspects, this would just be another networking group with costs nearly as high as the returns for a small business like mine.
