Grand Haven Area Public Schools’ Ferry and Voyager elementary students in grades K-4 are working with local businesses to create a truly unique opportunity for students and businesses alike to explore, ask questions and solve problems – together.

Students are working on a series of Grow Mindsets – Optimism, Resilience, Persistence, Flexibility and Empathy. Within the partnerships the children will learn how these mindsets are used in the business world.

The students will spend time at the business partners location learning about the processes and the different careers.  The business partner will engage with the students in the classroom around different projects.

The goal is to expose the students to their neighborhood community, learn about the different careers and to have fun.
