Event Registration, Payment & Cancellation Policies
Pre-Registration Requirements
Pre-registration is required for all Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Ferrysburg Chamber events to allow adequate planning for materials, room setup, and catering. Event registration will close one business day before the scheduled event. Registrations received after registration has closed will be charged an additional fee. While walk-in registrations may be available for some events with an additional charge, pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure participation.
Payment Options & Remittance
Most Chamber events require a registration fee, which will be listed on the event registration page. Payments for registration can be made through the following methods:
- Credit Cards: We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. The correct billing address for the credit card must be provided in order for the charge to be processed successfully.
- Checks: If you require an invoice to submit a payment via check, please send a written request to chamber@grandhavenchamber.org.
Payments may be made online through the Chamber’s website or by calling 616.842.4910. If you pay by check, please mail it to The Chamber | 1 South Harbor Drive | Grand Haven, MI 49417.
Attendance & No-Show Policy
A “No-Show” is any registrant who does not attend the event they registered for and has not canceled their registration. No-shows forfeit any claims to a refund of the registration fee.
Registration Modifications
Any modifications to an existing registration (such as name changes or updates) must be requested in writing via email to chamber@grandhavenchamber.org.
Transfers
Registrants may transfer their registration to another individual by submitting a written request via email to chamber@grandhavenchamber.org at least two business days before the event. On the day of the event, transfers can be made at the registration table. The individual taking the spot must present the name badge of the original registrant.
Walk-In Registrations
Walk-in registration is available for most Chamber events with an additional charge, but availability is not guaranteed. Walk-in registration is subject to the discretion of the Chamber to ensure proper accommodation for all attendees. Payment must be made at the door for walk-in registrations.
Cancellations
The cancellation deadline to receive a refund is three business days prior to the event. To cancel, send a written request to chamber@grandhavenchamber.org. Refunds will not be issued after this deadline for any reason. In cases of emergencies or illness, the Chamber will review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
If an event is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, registration fees will be refunded. However, the Chamber is not responsible for any additional costs or expenses, including travel-related charges (e.g., airline, hotel, or travel agency fees). The Chamber is not responsible for weather or travel-related issues and will not issue refunds for these reasons.
Photos & Recordings
The Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg Chamber may take photographs or record videos during events for promotional or educational purposes. By registering for an event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for these purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify April Tripp at atripp@grandhavenchamber.org prior to the event, and we will make arrangements to accommodate your request.
Accommodations

Policy Changes
The Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg Chamber reserves the right to amend or change these policies at its sole discretion, without notice. This is the most recent version of the policy and supersedes any previous versions.
