35 Years and Strong.

This year, ElectroMedia in Spring Lake is proud to celebrate 35 years in business.
ElectroMedia was founded in 1990, when Pete Boon began operating the company in Grand Haven with a focus on installing phone systems. As the internet quickly became an essential business tool, the company expanded its services to include Internet setup & network cabling alongside its telephone system installations.
By the late 1990s, ElectroMedia had moved into public bid work and larger cabling projects for schools and corporations. In the early 2000s, the company broadened its offerings again by adding camera and card access system installations.

In 2007, ElectroMedia grew by purchasing Michiana Communications in Mishawaka, Indiana, significantly increasing both its service area and customer base. In 2017, ElectroMedia relocated its Corporate Office to 148th Avenue in Spring Lake—a building previously used by the Spring Lake Fire Department.
Today, while ElectroMedia’s primary service region spans western Michigan and northern Indiana, the company has served customers of all sizes—including local businesses, schools, churches, major universities, and large corporations—across 23 states.
