Kirk Park Acres of dunes, woods, and Lake Michigan shoreline with a sandy beach. Covered pavilion, playground, swimming beach, hiking trails with scenic dune overlooks, and x-country ski trails. North Beach Park A popular sunbathing spot north of Grand Haven, with picnicking under the covered pavilion and hiking the dune-climb stairway for panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Rosy Mound Natural Area Rosy Mound is a classic Great Lakes dune system including high wooded dunes, foredunes, a dune blowout and 0.65 mile of shoreline. A 0.7 mile (one way) hiking trail from the parking area to the Lake Michigan shoreline includes 1000 feet of stairs up and down the dunes and scenic views of woods, dunes and Lake Michigan.
